Terms of Service

By accessing or continuing to use PoliSays, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use PoliSays on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

PoliSays reads an insurance policy, contract, or similar document that you upload and returns a plain-language, clause-by-clause explanation with quotations drawn from that document, plus follow-up questions and “what if” scenarios.

Explanation only — not advice. PoliSays is not an insurer, broker, agent, adjuster, or law firm. Nothing it produces is insurance, legal, financial, or tax advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, keep, drop, or claim anything. Decisions you make are your own responsibility, and you should consult a licensed professional where that matters.

PoliSays uses generative AI models. Output may be incomplete or wrong, may misread a document, and must not be relied on as a substitute for reading your own paperwork or obtaining professional advice. Always verify anything important against the quoted clause and the original document.

You are responsible for the documents and prompts you submit, for having the right to submit them, and for how you use the output. Do not submit content you are not permitted to share, and do not use PoliSays to produce unlawful, deceptive, or infringing material.

We may filter, refuse, or restrict output and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms. If you believe content processed through PoliSays infringes your rights, contact us and we will review and act, including terminating accounts for repeat infringement.

You must not:

• use PoliSays for any unlawful purpose, or for fraud, spam, or abuse;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• interfere with or probe the service's security, upload malware, scrape it, or circumvent technical or usage limits;
• reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service; or
• share account credentials or misrepresent who you are.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential, and for providing accurate account information.

AlienSquad, LLC owns PoliSays and all intellectual property in it, including its software, retrieval methods, wording, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected plan.

You keep all rights in the documents you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to provide the service to you.

Paid plans are billed yearly in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the term you paid for, after which saved reads become read-only.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for our money-back period.

We work to keep PoliSays available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change, and we may modify or discontinue parts of the service.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the service at any time.

When access ends, you may export your saved reads for 30 days, after which we may delete them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

You will indemnify AlienSquad, LLC against claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or breach of these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and disputes will be heard in the courts located there. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
